MARX TO ENGELS

IN MANCHESTER

Margate [16 March 1866]
5 Lansell's Place

Dear FRED,

I arrived here yesterday evening.[1] I have been dashing about all day today (after taking a warm sea-bathe) and have only just returned to my lodgings (right by the sea) in order to send you my address before the post-office closes. You will get more detailed news tomorrow. Your first Polish article[2] will appear not this week, but next. The air here is wonderful.

Salut.

Your

K. M.
